KRUŠIK SPIRAL PIPES

With the spiral winding technology "Krušik - Plastika"a.d. from Osečina produces:
• profile wall pipes
• full wall pipes
• anchor teeth pipes
• fittings
• manholes
For the production of KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes the following materials are used:
- High density polyethylene (HDPE) PE80
- Polypropylene (PPH)
High density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) have outstanding mechanical properties, chemical durability, electro-insulation properties, UV stability etc.

Properties of KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes are primarily the result of characteristics of the materials they are being made of.
- KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes are light, which enables significant savings during transport, manipulation and assembly. Pipes’ small weight is a special advantage in building pipelines through marshy and hard to reach terrains.
- Great advantage of these pipes is their flexibility during laying which ensures that the pipeline with very small radiuses will retain their strength values during laying. The smallest allowed pipleine bending radius is 150 D.
- Resistance of KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes to aggressive matters is such that it enables successful application in construction of pipelines for transport of wastewater and gas, in a great number of technological processes, construction of chimneys, etc.
- Spiral winding technology ensures complete homogeneity of the pipe wall, prevents delayering and guarantees absolute nonporousness. Connecting the pipes with the extrusion welding technique ensures absolute sealing on pipe connections as well.
- Possibility of application of pipes with increased temperatures, up to 60°C for HDPE pipes and 100°C for PP pipes.
- Paraffin structure of the material enables the pipes to be used for hydraulic transport of abrasive materials.
- KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes have a long shelf life, going above 50 years and minor maintenance costs which enables full economy for users.
- Apart from these advantages, KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes have excellent hydraulic properties and enable greater water flow than pipes made of usual materials.
KRUSIK-SPIRAL pipes have, according to their mechanical characteristics and extreme resistance to agressive media, wide range of applications especially for:
- pipelines for transport of industrial wastewater
- fecal collectors
- rain sewage
- ventilation pipelines
- submerged sewage discharges
- waste gas chimneys
- irrigation (dewatering)
The quality of KRUŠIK-SPIRAL pipes, as well as conditions of quality control, are defined by standard DIN 16961, pr EN 13476-1, and fitting is defined by standards DIN 4033 and DIN 18300. Bill of quantities for the pipeline is done in line with the ATV A127. Pipes are produced in lengths of 6.0 m (i.e. 3m for diameters bigger than 2000 mm.)
For selection of a quality pipe and its proper functioning during exploitation, the most important assumption is a well executed static estimate. If the static estimate is entrusted to construction and technical bureau of Krušik-Plastika it is necessary to fill in the attached questionnaire on the basis of which the bill of quantities will be completed and quality of delivered pipes guaranteed.
